An accounting feature using $$STAT EXEC was added to CM4NEWS December 3
to remind every CM4NEWS reader that he/she has to pay the access charge
for the most informative news/entertainment system.  The message is very
clear - there is no such thing as a free lunch!

The new integrated full-screen panel-driven HLPCOM Cell Library search
facility has been in operation on CM4LIB disk since November 25.  Now the
developer fears the pressure from Eric Hall to retrofit the user-friendly
technology-independent facility to CM3LIB disk.

This is the last entertainment portion of CM4NEWS, and the Publisher is
looking forward to returning to private life after his 7-month stint in
public life.  He is hoping to lead public life again in 19 years when he
runs for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada/le Parti Liberal
du Canada in 2004.  The Publisher's experience with CM4NEWS will be
included in volume one of his memoir "A Moderately Public Life", to be
published in 2035 when he turns 76 years old.

The CM4NEWS Publisher believes that CM4NEWS has played a pioneering role
in guiding BNR into "The Third Wave" through diversity and cooperation
together with Anne Shirley's spirit and imagination, and he hopes CM4NEWS
will be published as a book:
