I would like to congratulate you for your positive attitude on sexism. However, I still see a lot of room for improvement. For example, "chairman" can be renamed simply to "chair". Also, I have been anxiously waiting for the abolition of the "Engineers Wives Association" in favour of "Engineers Spouses Association". If the APEO rules require more formal procedure for these changes, please make it a resolution for the next general meeting.
Another suggestion is to link APEO chapter newsletters to those of other engineering associations such as IEEE. As a member of both organisations, I much prefer to receive these distinct newsletters in a single mailing which saves distribution cost and eliminate duplication and redundancy of cross-posting in the calendar section. Incidentally, the idea is not new and has worked for some time somewhere in the U.S.A.
