During today (Tuesday)'s Hour 1 topic of on-line journalism, I was blown away by the comment by one of the speakers that the new on-line statistics that the average time for a web page is 5 minutes instead of 8 seconds "blew us away"!
That's because for me, I have at least 3 windows open for 3 different web sessions. I click one web address and quickly move to another while it is loading, which takes half a minute to a minute or so. Then I go back and read the page for a few seconds.
The parallelism blew you away, not necessarily your content!!
Let's see if this message makes it within today's broadcast, which would be a real demonstration of another comment about "instant feedback" :-).
