I have just returned from a family vacation in Eastern Ontario. Our family really enjoyed the visit to Upper Canada Village and Fort Henry. I would like to make a couple of comments.
The map at Upper Canada Village is very nice. Even so, however, I had trouble locating the buildings because many buildings are not marked. I would like to suggest that every building be somehow marked (in an authentic look, of course).
At Fort Henry, I found that the barriers on the roof were too sparse. My 2-year old child was going all over the place, as usual, and it was very scary for the parents. I would like to see a fence added to the barriers.
