I understand that Canadian Council of Professional Engineers (CCPE), along with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and other Engineering Organisations, is taking a legal action against some universities to stop granting Computer Engineering degrees.
I noticed that other non-academic bodies are producing Engineers. Could anybody investigate the following claim by Microsoft?

... the START program from Learning Technologies and become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
If in fact it violates the rules regarding the use of Engineer and Engineering, please take a legal action against Microsoft for the use of Engineer.
Any attempt by the Evil Empire to degrade Engineer and Engineering, if true, must be stopped!
