2001-09-17|World Peace Dome at World Trade Centre Site

This is a proposal to construct a World Peace Dome (WPD) at the site in New York City, New York, U.S.A., where the twin towers of the World Trade Centre (WTC) once stood.
The World Peace Dome (WPD) would be the largest geodesic dome in the world, surpassing the former Expo '67 U.S. Pavilion in Montréal (Québec) CANADA, which is now the Biosphere.
In addition to hosting a memorial for the loss of the World Trade Centre (WTC) 2001-09-11 by the terrorist attacks, the proximity from the United Nations Headquarters would make the World Peace Dome (WPD) in New York City an ideal symbol for peace for the entire world, giving hope for a bright future of human civilisation.
