2001-09-24|BattleBots/Robot Wars/Robotica with Fuel Cells

I am an electrical engineer, and I am thinking of constructing a robot to enter the BattleBots, the Robot Wars and the Robotica circuits.
None of the robots so far has been powered by fuel cells, so there is a great marketing opportunity for Ballard Power Systems/H Power Enterprises to demonstrate the power and capability of fuel cells.
Thus, I would like to know if Ballard Power Systems/H Power Enterprises may wish to sponsor a robot by supplying a compact micro fuel cell system (either liquid hydrogen or methanol with/without a reformer). I realise that there is no commercial system available at present, so an experimental model discarded by Ballard/H Power R & D department would do. The power requirement would be about 2K watt for 10 minutes, or a total energy requirement of about 1M joule.
I am willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement. I look forward to discussing the opportunity further.
