I am a proud Apple Macintosh user since 1986 or so. I now use an iMac computer with the latest version of Mac OS X.
I am excited about iLife '04 which was introduced at MacWorld 2004, and I intend to purchase it as soon as it becomes available in Canada. I am particularly interested in GarageBand for its MIDI music processing capability.
However, I noticed the following advertisement on the Apple website:
It's like Microsoft Office for the rest of your life.
I find the comparison offensive because Mac OS X has made it possible for me to become 100% Microsoft-free. I perceive any association between excellent Apple products and Micro$loth Windoze bloatware as very negative.
