It appears that all the video clips on website discoverychannel.ca (formerly exn.ca) are in PC Windoze-only Media Player format.
A few years ago, I used to be able to watch the @discovery.ca programme on website discovery.ca using RealOne Player on my Apple Macintosh computer.
On the PBS NOVA website, both QuickTime and RealVideo formats are supported. For example, I can view the excellent programme The Elegant Universe <http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/program.html> using QuickTime on my iMac running Mac OS X. Also, CBC Radio is webcast in QuickTime and RealAudio formats.
I would like to request that the video clips on website discoverychannel.ca be made available in platform-independent QuickTime format.
