I just wanted to say how impressed I was to hear about your lecture on TVO's Big Ideas programme about "The Rise of the Creative Class".
I completely agree that the key is "open mindedness". However, I have observed that most so-called creative people in your categories (university professors, scientists, engineers, etc.) are not so open-minded, unfortunately. I would say that only about 5 % of the population are.
