I just wanted to say how impressed I was to hear about your pain research, especially the fascinating results that male and female brains use completely different genes and different proteins to process pain.
How does a simultaneous or synchronous hermaphrodite, which is an adult organism that has both male and female sexual organs at the same time, react? There is also a proposal (Fausto-Sterling) that there are actually 5 sexes (3 intersexes: herm, merm and ferm).
I guess that there are not enough samples to study...
