I brought back a pair of circularly polarised RealD 3-D glasses from a movie theatre after watching "Avatar (2009)". I was wearing the 3-D glasses in front of the bathroom mirror to look at myself when I found that closing one eye makes the glass on the open eye dark and the glass on the closed eye transparent.
I also found that viewing a LCD display screen of a computer monitor or that of a TV set with the circularly polarised RealD 3-D glasses makes the colour to tint blue or yellow when I rotate the head sideways. Such LCD display screens are linearly polarised.
