There is a GIANT pothole on Boulevard des Trembles near Rue Boyer in the Manoir des Trembles area of the Hull Sector.
My car was hit several times already. Please fix it up ASAP. During the holiday season, please at least place a RED CONE so that vehicles can avoid that GIANT pothole.
Also, please advise the procedure to make a claim for the repair cost of my car if it is damaged by the pothole.
The pothole was finally fixed on 2013-03-13, which is 75 days since I first reported the problem to the city.
Thank you very much for your attention.
To whom it may concern
I reported to la Ville de Gatineau a giant pothole in Manoir des Trembles in December 2012. Despite the response "at the earliest possible opportunity", the pothole was not fixed for several months!
Moreover, the city did not place a red cone to warn the existence of extreme danger due to the pothole as I clearly requested in my letter. As a result, my car hit the pothole more than 10 times in total, as my spouse and my daughter were also driving the same car.
Although there was no immediate damage to the car, I started to notice noise from the rear wheels of the car, which became bigger and bigger. When I finally had the garage check it out, the mechanic stated that both wheel bearings needed to be replaced, and that the most probable cause of the damage is the repeated impact to the pothole.
