As soon as my spouse found out in the latest Publi-Sac that "Conair 1875W Mid-Size Ionic Hair Dryer" was on sale at Canadian Tire, we immediately visited the Hull store to purchase one.
At the store, we found out that it is not actually "Ionic". Since this is the absolute criterion for my spouse to purchase a hair dryer, she was extremely disappointed. We then went to the Ottawa store, but the result was the same, i.e., the Ionic Hair Dryer was not Ionic at all.
Back at home, we visited Canadian Tire's website for confirmation. It incorrectly says that the Hair Dryer is Ionic. The product webpage for "Conair 1875W Mid-Size Ionic Hair Dryer" is attached below for your inspection.
The conclusion is that an error by Canadian Tire misled my spouse. I hope that it is not intentional, and that you will publish retraction for both the flyer and the webpage. Otherwise, I will be forced to file a complaint as a false advertisement.
I promptly reported the problem of identification error to Canadian Tire Corporation, Ltd., and they generously offered me an ionic hair dryer.
