I bought a package of Joe Fresh earrings <UPC:0-58703-12507-0> for my spouse who had her ears pierced only a month prior to the purchase. She did not know that the transparent plastic piece was supposed to be removed, so she was wearing the earrings with the piece attached.
A few days later, she noticed severe infection around the hole of her right ear. Finally, she realised that the transparent piece is supposed to be removed. Since she removed it, her infection has been subsiding.
Therefore, please add such warning about removing the transparent plastic piece be prominently displayed to the package of Joe Fresh earrings.
I promptly reported the problem of manufacturing defects to Loblaw Companies Ltd.
