On 2013-10-12, I almost had a fatal traffic accident at a 5-way intersection in Ottawa. My car had a GREEN traffic light from Commissioner Street to Slater Street, so I proceeded without stopping. A car from Bronson Avenue also had a GREEN traffic light to go straight, so the driver proceeded without stopping. Thus, we almost had a serious high-speed collision. Google Maps's Street View shows the situation in which 2 directions are shown GREEN light at the same time. My spouse suggested that the direction of the traffic lights may have been mis-aligned due to the recent construction on Bronson Avenue.
