I went to see the demolition by implosion of the Sir John Carling building at 07:00 on 2014-07-13 (Sunday) from Birch Drive, Ottawa, ON, Canada. Luckily, the smoke from the aftermath did not come my way.
Imagine the statistical increase of lung cancer risk by inhaling the airborne asbestos in the cloud from the contaminated building! Ironically, the asbestos smoke was heading across the street towards the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus...
