2015-11-15|Sunatori's Mouse Found Trapped in Peanut Butter
Potential Discovery or Invention
As a lazy person, I left a peanut butter jar on the kitchen table (750 mm from the floor) with its lid open as usual. When I came back from raking leaves in my front and back yards today, I was absolutely shocked to find a mouse trapped in the peanut butter jar. The mouse was not exactly swimming in the peanut butter in comfort but was stuck in the non-Newtonian fluid, as peanut butter behaves like quicksand.
I immediately called the local humane society's "Emergencies and Stray Animals: GET HELP FOR A SICK OR INJURED STRAY ANIMAL". Following their advice, I released the mouse into the forest at the back of my backyard, with plenty of peanut butter still on its body. I also left the peanut butter jar, which is made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and caused pollution in the forest. However, I have great satisfaction of having saved a life instead of flushing it into the toilet or throwing it into the garbage. As long as the mouse manages to avoid numerous cats in the neighbourhood, it should live a long peanut-buttery life of heaven.
