I have some investments in Scotiabank's "Savings Accelerator" in "Non-Reg Savings - BNS". The Scotiabank financial advisor told me that I must open a new account in order to hold a mutual fund. I also confirmed with +1-800-4SCOTIA that the "Non-Reg Savings - BNS" account cannot hold a mutual fund.
In order to prevent such confusion, could you please remove "Mutual fund" from Scotia Online's "Non-Reg Savings - BNS" account? This request is not just for my account but applies globally in the system because other people would certainly be confused.
