To whom it may concern

I have 2 RESP accounts (the first for my 3 older children, the second for my 1 youngest child) at Scotiabank, overseen by an extremely competent financial advisor at Bells Corners branch. When I visited the branch last year to request that $500 CAD be withdrawn from the first RESP account, the financial advisor was unable to do so on his computer terminal. He immediately called Scotiabank headquarters's RESP centre to try to resolve the issue on the spot. He was told that the $500 CAD was deposited to my wrong RESP account by Scotiabank's mistake. So, he requested Scotiabank headquarters's RESP centre that the misplaced $500 CAD be transferred from the first RESP account to the second RESP account properly to correct the error. While my financial advisor was making the request, I was just in front of him, witnessing the conversation.

I was waiting for the transfer every day for several weeks on Scotia Online. The withdrawal from the first RESP account was done promptly, but the deposit to the second RESP account has never been done. I inquired about it, but there has been no resolution. Here are the details of my 2 RESP accounts for your investigation.
