2017-07-22|Ontario Power Generation's Darlington Nuclear Generating Station
To whom it may concern
On my way to pick up my engineer/mathematician/computer scientist son François and his girlfriend in Kitchener, ON, from Gatineau, QC, I stopped at Ontario Power Generation's Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. While looking for the Information Centre, I somehow gained unimpeded access to the workers's entrance building, and caused a security alert. The guards told me that there used to be a security gate, but that it was removed.
Nevertheless, they were kind enough to escort me to the Information Centre building. The Information Centre was supposed to be closed because it was off-hours on Saturday. However, I found one unlocked door marked "Welcome", and I was able to view the entire exhibit even though there was nobody else in the building.
Well, so much for the security of Canada's critical infrastructure...
