Every beginning of the month, I receive an E-mail notification for a new issue of IEEE Spectrum magazine. However, I have not received one for January 2018. Moreover, I cannot access it via IEEE Spectrum app on the iPhone as the latest issue is still December 2017. Please let me know what is going on.

Subsequently, the IEEE Spectrum magazine became legible. However, all the icons (Table of Contents, Search, Print, Share) are missing.

There is mysterious discrepancy of most e-mail messages from IEEE Spectrum. The first image is from Mail.app on a MacBook Air running macOS. The second image is from Mail app on an iPhone Plus (iOS). It seems that the advertisement at the top is always missing in the mobile device version.

The quarterly issue of The Institute has been in the table of contents of the digital edition of IEEE SPECTRUM magazine since MARCH 2019, but it was never included in the PDF file from Nxtbook Media's website. So, I always had to search for the digital edition of The Institute separately every 3 months. The DECEMBER 2020 issue of IEEE SPECTRUM magazine is the very first time that The Institute is included in IEEE SPECTRUM magazine's PDF file itself. Although it took 21 months, thank you for simplifying my life!!!
Please implement the Text-to-Speech (TTS) feature in the IEEE app as function "LISTEN" with a "Speed" button so that I can play back an article at different speeds (e.g., 1.00x, 1.25x, 1.50x, 1.75x, 2.00x) as well as "Rewind (-10, REW)" and "Fast Forward (+10, FF)" buttons for skipping backward/forward 10 seconds or so, just as one can do in YouTube, etc.
