Dr. Robert G. Moore
Thank you for the recent talk about experimental condensed matter physics with superbly excellent explanation at the right speed.
I studied engineering physics in the early 1980's. I would like to point out that the first transistor was invented in 1947 not at IBM but at AT&T Bell Laboratories.
The model of the PNP Point-Contact Transistor (bipolar) with a bulk of Germanium (Ge) semiconductor should show Emitter, Base and Collector terminals. On the contrary, the Field Effect Transistor (unipolar) has Source, Gate and Drain terminals.
I hope that the constructive criticism will lead to continuous improvement of your future presentations.
