An artwork by prominent Canadian artist Véronique Sunatori, MFA, BFA, entitled "It Will Come Like a Wave" at the Art Gallery of York University (AGYU) features a ceramic bowl with a crack from which a plant is growing. The configuration represents wabi-sabi which is a world view centred on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.
