2018-12-30|McGoal™ (1) + Beyond the Arch™ (1) = 1?
To whom it may concern
On 2018-12-29 (Saturday), I received the following 2 notifications on my iPhone: "McGoal! The Senators scored first yesterday!" and "The Raptors made it rain 3-pointers last night!". So, I rushed to a McDonald restaurant on Montreal Road in Ottawa to take advantage of the 2 offers which were both displayed on the My McD's app. When my 2 orders were ready, the restaurant manager questioned me how I got 2 free medium fries. Even after I explained to him that it is because of the Senators AND the Raptors, he insisted that I was entitled to only one. He eventually gave me 2 fries after a long dispute, but such a behaviour to treat a loyal customer like a criminal should not be tolerated by McDonald's Canada.
If McDonald's Canada really wants to limit the promotion to 1 FREE medium fries per person's account, then a daily limit and/or a seasonal limit would be easily implemented in the My McD's app itself by a competent web developer.
