To whom it may concern
According to Wikipedia, a moving walkway (also known as an autowalk, moving sidewalk, moving pavement, people-mover, travolator, or travelator) is a slow-moving conveyor mechanism that transports people across a horizontal or inclined plane over a short to medium distance. At the speed of 9 km/h = 150 m/minute, the travelling time of about 1.5 km between Bayview Station (Ottawa) and Station Taché-UQO (Gatineau) would be about 10 minutes. Sensors should be installed so that the moving walkway is automatically turned off when nobody is using it, as moving walkways of some airports do.
