Making a QR Code yourself is even easier without downloading or installing any apps, or using an external website like QiFi, as explained here.
Just about every presentation (webinar/webcast or in-person seminar) receives a question asking "Will the viewgraph be made available?" or audience taking photos of the viewgraphs with the Camera app. To counter such unproductive waste of human talent, a QR Code for Wi-Fi access and a QR Code for the URL of a Keynote/PowerPoint presentation in PDF format are made by the Shortcuts app (iOS/iPadOS). It is then prominently placed on PAGE 1 of the viewgraph so that people on-line or at the back of an auditorium can scan the QR Code with the Camera app on the iPhone/iPad, for example, to view the slides on-line during and/or after the presentation on their own mobile devices at their own pace.
Here is the step-by-step instruction for creating a "QR Code for Wi-Fi Access".
1. launch app "Shortcuts" in iOS/iPadOS
2. tap "(+)" -> tap "(...)"
3. Shortcut Name: QR Code for Wi-Fi Access -> tap "Done"
4. tap "(+)"
5. search for "te" -> tap "Text"
6. enter: WIFI:S:[your Wi-Fi network];T:WPA;P:[your Wi-Fi password];; -> tap "(+)"
7. search for "qr" -> tap "Generate QR code" -> tap "(+)"
8. search for "qu" -> tap "Quick Look" -> tap "Done"
9. tap "QR Code for Wi-Fi Access"
10. tap the Share icon -> tap "AirDrop" to put the "Image.png" file into your document

4. switch: Show in Widget: Off, Show in Share Sheet: On -> tap "Done"
5. tap "(+)"
6. search for "we" -> tap "Get Details of Safari Webpage"
7. tap "Detail" and select "Page URL" -> tap "(+)"
8. tap "Safari webpage" and select "Select Magic Variable" -> tap "Shortcut Input" -> tap "(+)"
9. search for "qr" -> tap "Generate QR code" -> tap "(+)"
10. search for "qu" -> tap "Quick Look" -> tap "Done"
1. launch app "Safari" in iOS/iPadOS -> visit your viewgraph webpage
2. tap the Share icon -> tap "QR Code for Viewgraphs"
3. tap the Share icon -> tap "AirDrop" to put the PNG Image into your document
