I love Listerine's dispenser pump! In fact, I use it to dispense dish detergent as well.
I recently noticed that the dispenser pump does not function well when residual liquid solidifies at the pump mechanism. I suspect that inactive ingredient of artificial sweetener in Listerine does not evaporate but solidifies on the bathroom counter's surface, as shown in the comparative photograph.
Even worse, these blobs attract ants. In contrast, Scope does not leave such solid residue, and attracts no ants.
I hope that Johnson & Johnson's chemists will be able to reformulate the ingredients to resolve such issues, please.
Thank you very much for your attention.
To whom it may concern
Thank you very much for the reply. I look forward to the Quality Team's chemists about any scientific response.
There is still 1/3 container of the ants-attracting, blob-forming Listerine liquid left. If the problem is lot-specific, then I would be happy to send it to your address. In that case, please give me the FedEx number or UPS number.
Please forward it to Johnson & Johnson's chemists for further analysis.

This is to let you know that I have received some coupons from you. Thank you! I hope that I will be able to use them as soon as Listerine's formula is changed to correct the problem.
I look forward to the lab analysis and any remedial action that Johnson & Johnson may take, if any. Please note that I am willing to be a beta tester for the new formula.
