2020-06-21|A&D Medical's Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor: $12.99 OR $129.95?
To whom it may concern
I renewed my prescription with the Jean Coutu app (iOS) on the iPhone, then went to Pharmacie Jean Coutu 317. After picking up the prescription drugs, I looked around and found A&D Medical's Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor: LIFESOURCE 1200 ULTRACONNECT.
I thought that it was good value because I saw "$12.99" on the price sticker label on the product package.
After tapping my credit card to pay for the purchase, I realised that the price I paid was not $12.99 + TPS (5.000 %) + TVQ (9.975 %) but $129.95 + TPS (5.000 %) + TVQ (9.975 %) = $149.41.
The Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor works well, so I am keeping it. Please examine the photo of the price sticker label. If you agree that the dollar value is misleading due to the faded-out last digit, then please ensure that Jean Coutu's label printer prints out clear unambiguous price number by using a thermal transfer printer, for example.
Thank you very much for your attention.
To whom it may concern
3 months after the incident, there are still illegible labels, this one is a blood pressure monitor, a different model from before. I am afraid that no action has been taken by Pharmacie Jean Coutu 317. I am now regretting that I declined their offer of full refund.
