When I accessed IEEE Collabratec, I saw this message explicitly stating "Please Renew Now".
Clicking button "Renew Now" led me to IEEE's membership renewal webpage.
I did not notice the inconspicuous "Please note:" section, so I clicked button "Renew now" and filled out the membership renewal form. Clicking button "Proceed to checkout" led to message "This item cannot be purchased at this time or no longer available." Since membership renewal cannot be done for another 3 weeks, please disable "Renew Now" buttons until then in order to prevent confusion.
