2020-09-14|OpenTreeMap's Circular Logic

To whom it may concern

• I thought that the registration process with OpenTreeMap went OK, but I cannot log in with username "GS.Sunatori" which should be liked to my e-mail address "GS.Sunatori@HyperInfo.CA". Here is what happened.
  • "Retrieve your Username" -> "Email Sent" -> never arrived!
  • "Reset your Password" -> "This account is inactive"
  • "Resend Activation Email" -> "There is no user with that username"

• When I clicked "here" in "Your account will remain inactive until your email address has been verified. To resend your verification email, click here.", the first error message showed up. Trying to log in generates the second error message.

  That doesn't look right Oh dear, it looks like something is broken on our end. We'll fix the problem shortly!

  Login Error Incorrect username or password Try Again

  

• Because this circular logic happened more than 24 hours ago, I am reporting it to you. Please HELP!
