The opinion article promotes COVID vaccine passports in the form of COVID-19 cards. Instead of a physical card in plastic, the logical step is to have vaccination records stored in the COVID Alert app, locally in the user's mobile device first, then eventually uploaded to the cloud such as Carnet santé Québec when they become ready to accept vaccination records.
