Potential Discovery or Invention
I placed a plastic shopping bag marked "Biodegradable" outside, exposed to nature's elements including ultraviolet radiation (UV) from sunlight. It took 6 years to reach this stage of decomposition.
After 8 years of experiment, a "Compostable" bag was added for comparison.
