If a small plane mirror is held in front of a large plane mirror, then one can observe upside-up images on both plane mirrors, one reflection and the other reflection of reflection. In contrast, if a small concave mirror is held in front of a large concave mirror, then one can observe an upside-up image on one convex mirror and an upside-down image of the same size on the other convex mirror. One of the convex mirrors can be substituted by a plane mirror.
