Doppler radar speed signs are often used in school zones. This one in the neighbourhood was used to measure my sprint speed. The YouTube video was made by my professional artist daughter Véronique.
My sprint speed of 19 km/h corresponds to about 19 seconds for 100 metre dash, resulting in thumb up in GREEN. Olympic athletes run in less than 10 seconds, so their speeds are more than 36 km/h, which exceeds the speed limit of 30 km/h in school zones, resulting in thumb down in RED.
