Chia seeds were sprinkled onto the top surface of the sanitary napkin, then dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) was added. The sanitary napkin contains polyacrylate super-absorbent gels which sucks up the liquid quickly and holds it in suspension, just like a diaper.
Here is the chia plant after being transplanted into soil with plenty of sunshine.
