Among "visible minority", "person of colour" and "racialised person", I vote for "person of colour". Sooner or later, humanity will discover that black is a colour as much as white is a colour, that all human beings are varying shades of brown in colour, and how defining one's race in gene's DNA sequence is meaningless, thus labelling human beings by race makes no sense at all. Watch Star Trek episode "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" (ST:TOS S3:E15).
As for me, I have always self-identified myself as "Other: Homo sapiens" in censuses, surveys and questionnaires. I sincerely hope that more people will embrace scientifically logical facts and enlighten the Canadian society as such to make a difference.
