Potential Discovery or Invention
When my geological engineer/exploration geologist daughter Évelyne achieved Level 5 as a Google Maps Local Guide, she received a pair of socks. Since I did not get any socks from Google even when I achieved Level 7, she felt pity and gave me her socks.
After wearing them only 4 times, they started to naturally self-disintegrate.
It could the consequence of Google's being cheap, i.e., "One size fits most, unisex" with "69% cotton, 29% polyamide, 2% elastane".
