My geological engineer/exploration geologist daughter Évelyne appears to be using her iPhone which is magnetically attached to the lampshade of a floor lamp. However, as revealed by teacher/nurse Nick, it turned out that she was faking it, i.e., there is no magnetic attachment except for the USB cable which is magnetically attached to the lamppost.
Here are genuinely non-fake "Rotatable iPhone Attachment to a Swingable Magnetically-Supported Bent Steel Bar" and "Portable iPhone Stand for MagSafe with a Tripod" to provide hands-free operation. However, Évelyne's setup with the lamppost has meritorious advantage of easier access to the sofa.
