• Here are different methods to dry a cup/glass.

• First, vertically down. H2O cannot escape well, so drops stay inside.

  

• Second, vertically up. H2O can escape, but some drops stay at bottom.

  

• Third, horizontal. H2O can escape, but some drops stay inside.

  

• Fourth, tilted. H2O can escape, and drops do not stay.
