2024-12-30|Sunatori's Coin Discolouration

Compositions of Canadian $1 coins (Loonie) have changed, but GOLD colour has not changed.
- 1987-2012 | 91.5% nickel (Ni), 8.5% bronze (copper (Cu) + tin (Sn), etc.) plating
- 2012 - present | multi-ply brass (copper (Cu) + zinc (Zn), etc.) plated steel (iron (Fe) + carbon (C))
These 11-sided circulation coins have identical colours at first, but the colour change profile is different. The LEFT one is dated 2008, while the RIGHT one is dated 2021.
