Here is a view of Google Maps's Satellite View. 2-finger swipe up gesture to make it 3D reveals that the houses in my suburban neighbourhood are flat. Same flatness for the high-rise apartment building.
On the contrary, Apple Maps's Satellite View with 3D does not suffer from such anomaly.
