I remotely attended "The Genesis of the COVID Vaccine: The Path to the Nobel Prize" (Trottier Symposium at McGill University). I found your lecture to be very enlightening with clearly understandable explanations.
Over the last 6 years or so, my son (1989) who lives in Montréal, QC, Canada, has developed Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) similar to Sick Building Syndrome (SBS), i.e., nose and skin irritation, scalp pain with burning sensation, etc. He also reacts to fragrances in fabric from scented detergent. Numerous medical consultations with GPs, allergists, dermatologists and an internist (clean bill) have not been successful at all. The patch test revealed strong reaction to formaldehyde, but the doctor had no solution other than to say "good luck".
I noticed that one of your presentation slides showed that mRNA therapies have potential for "allergies". Do you believe that my son could be a candidate for such mRNA therapy?? If there are any clinical trials,
he is desperate enough to participate.
We would sincerely appreciate any tip that you may give us, Dr. Weissman.
