The Winter Boots that I purchased at Decathlon look like Apollo Lunar Boots. The original Moon Boots were inspired by the peculiar shape and technology of astronauts's boots. Here are 2 versions of boots, one with basic design and the other with bells and whistles.

The less expensive boot (LEFT) is constructed from single-piece rubber, while the more expensive boot (RIGHT) has rubber pieces glued together. Guess which pair of boots will last longer.
