After snowstorm, Ville de Gatineau passes a motor grader snow plow, which dumps enough snow to block my driveway. When snowbank becomes high, Ville de Gatineau places No-Parking sign in preparation for snow clearing operation by a snow blower into a truck for removal.
As a clever strategy, I deliberately stopped shovelling ultra-heavy compacted snow on my driveway before the edge of the snowbank. This way, Ville de Gatineau does the work of removing heavily packed accumulated snow for FREE, instead of my back-destroying exercise.
