Potential Discovery or Invention

• The National Capital Commission (NCC) says:

  Kìwekì Point
  Following a two-stage international design competition, the Big River Landscape concept was chosen for the site redevelopment. After extensive rehabilitation, the site reopened to the public in May 2025.

• In less than 1 year, the wooden beams are already showing cracks which may compromise structural integrity. How come steel was not used, I wonder.
